Formação / Education:
Fui pesquisadora de pós-doutorado na Universidade de São Paulo junto ao Grupo de Estudos Espinosanos. Sou doutora em Filosofia pela University of Georgia (UGA - Estados Unidos), tendo atuado como professora (Instructor) e professora assistente (Teaching Assistant) no Departamento de Filosofia da universidade. Ganhei o Excellence in Teaching Award (2016) e o Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award (2015) por meu trabalho como T.A.. Minha pesquisa de doutorado foi contemplada com o Willson Center Research Award (2014), com o Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute Tinker Summer Research Award (2015) e foi indicada pelo departamento para o Graduate School Excellence in Research Award (2016). Minha tese de doutorado, com o título A Metafísica da Imaginação em Espinosa foi orientada pelo Prof. Dr. Edward Halper. Sou mestre pela PUC-Rio com a orientação do Prof. Dr. Oswaldo Chateaubriand, onde pesquisei metafísica e filosofia da lógica. Também fiz Bacharelado e Licenciatura em Filosofia pela UFRJ, com estágio docente no CAP-UFRJ. Tenho dois cachorros, uma lagartixa leopardo e um filho.

I was post-doctoral researcher at the University of São Paulo where I conducted research in association with the Spinoza Research Group. I hold a PhD from the University of Georgia, and I acted as an Instructor and Teaching Assistant in the Philosophy Department through the years 2011-2016 with a Graduate Teaching Assistantship sponsored by the Philosophy Department of UGA. As a T.A., I received the Excellence in Teaching Award and the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. My areas of specialization are Early Modern and Modern Philosophy (Spinoza, Conway, Nísia Floresta), Metaphysics, Methodologies in the History of Philosophy (canon and gender), and Philosophy of Education (with emphasis in Logic Teaching). My PhD research received the Willson Center Research Award, the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute Tinker Filed Research Award, and was nominated by the department to receive the Graduate School Excellence in Research Award. My PhD dissertation, entitled "The Metaphysics of Imagination in Spinoza" was advised by Prof. Dr. Edward Halper. I hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Philosophy at The Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2010) where I studied under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Oswaldo Chateaubriand. I am also a Licentiate at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009), and a Bachelor of Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2007). I have two dogs, a lizard, and a son.
